Weekend Preview Number 6! Liverpool, Chelsea, Boro, Bournemouth, PSG and Marseille.

Liverpool vs Chelsea - Saturday 8th Nov - 12:45 KO

Huge game at home for Liverpool this weekend coming off the back of two straight defeats. One, a spirited performance in the Bernabau and the other a slightly more embarrassing affair at St Jame's Park. But Rogers allegedly didn't 'rest' his stars against Real Madrid, he dropped them because they were, well, bobbins. So it will be interesting to see if 'reserves' Toure and Borini return here ahead of those shamed in Newcastle.

They certainly need a big result because whilst Chelsea have lurched from success to success in the league this campaign, Liverpool have failed to recapture last seasons spark which saw them dazzle many an opponent, with a flury of pace and movement. Their play has been much, much slower this time around and some of that blame (mostly unfairly) has been shifted on to the aging Steven Gerrardwho now in the twilight of his career needs to reassert his former dominance in this match versusFabregas and Co. Should he pass what may be a late fitness test for Liverpool's captain.

But I like Chelsea here and after his penalty miss in the Champions League I think its about time Hazardgrabbed himself a league brace and hopefully for me, an In Form in the process. The signs of recovery for Liverpool were there in midweek, but the magnitude of this game may have come just a little too soon for that revival.

Score Prediction: Liverpool 1-3 Chelsea

In Form Prediction: Eden Hazard

Middlesbrough vs Bournemouth - Saturday 8th Nov - 15:00 KO

A top of the table clash in the Championship this Saturday which debuts on the Weekend Preview! And it's in-form Bournemouth who are grabbing all the headlines after a terrific league run which has seen them win their last six games on the spin. During that time they also secured their League Cup glamour tie against Liverpool, so all is very well indeed down on the south coast at the moment. They're brimming with confidence and England Under 21's bound top scorer Calum Wilson will be looking to get back to scoring ways after two games now without a goal.

Middlesbrough don't boast Bournemouth's impressive recent run of results, but they've been much more consistent over the course of this season, and for them it's midfield general Grant Leadbitter they'll be looking towards to try and halt the Cherries charge. They've won their last two games 7-0 on aggregate so at either end Boro are a force to be reckoned with.

Both sides are locked on 30 points at the top of the Championship and with Watford and Derby breathing down their necks the draw may be the sensible betting mans choice but based purely on the confidence Eddie Howe's men are playing with at the moment, I'm backing Bournemouth to nick it late on at the Riverside to cement top spot.

Score Prediction: Middlesbrough 2-3 Bournemouth

In Form Prediction: Calum Wilson

PSG vs Marseille - Sunday 9th Nov - 20:00 KO

Another top of the table clash, this time in Ligue 1 where Marco Biesla's high flying Marseille take on the vast riches of PSG who have now finally hit a bit of form in the league after a patch of silly 1-1 draws, three in a row to be precise and six draws in total. Ibra, Canvani and Lucas all have 5 goals a piece this term but it's Marseilles own Andre-Pierre Gignac who's put them all to shame with a whopping 10 goals in 12 games. Not bad by any standards.

Whilst PSG haven't really clicked in to gear this season, they do have the joint best defensive record in the league (8 conceded) but this weekend they face off against the best attack in the league in Marseille (27 scored) making this one of the most anticipated, and finely poised Ligue 1 games of the season. And therefore it's harder to call than the EA Support Desk.

The irresistible array of talent from Paris? Or the insanely well organised, pacey, dynamic men from the South of France? By all means gentlemen get your own predictions for this one in the comments, because for the first time in Weekend Preview history (well, 6 articles) i'm well and truly stumped..... Oh balls to it. PSG by a nose.

Score Prediction: PSG 2-1 Marseille

In Form Prediction: Edison Cavani
